Higher Octane for A Better Indonesia

Automobiles, which were invented in 1769, provide humans with the comfort of moving from one place to another with less human power. However the problem is now humans have to feed their vehicles as an exchange of their services and this is not an easy task to do. In Indonesia, several types of “food” for one’s car or motorcycles are being offered based on its octane number. There are two common-sense-based reasons why one should buy fuel with higher octane number, first is this action will help the less fortunate and second it will help the earth.

The action of buying fuel with higher octane number will surely impact the less fortunate in a good way. As the Indonesian government is subsidizing the cheap fuel with less octane number, the fuel is not meant to be fed into the vehicles of the upper and the middle class. However, in reality, this is not what is happening. Therefore, with more people buying the fuel with higher octane, the subsidized fuel can go straight to where it is meant to be.

Purchasing fuel with higher octane number will also help Mother Nature, which is suffering right now. This is a well-known fact that with a higher octane number the combustion process of the vehicle’s machine is cleaner, thus making less air pollution. Though it seems like a not a big deal, but a lot of little helps is what our nature needs.

Helping the less fortunate and stopping the cry of Mother Nature surely are the main reasons why the upper and middle class Indonesians should feed their automobiles with fuel with higher octane number. Moreover, as more Indonesians realized about these facts and take this responsible action, Indonesia will become a better country in term of the well being of its people and its other natural inhabitants.
